# RSJ Portfolio > RSJ Portfolio is a Windows desktop application that builds a statistically optimized stock portfolio from historic end-of-day prices. It analyses the return correlation between stocks and allocates capital to candidates that correlate weakly — or whose downside correlates weakly — which reduces the volatility of the resulting portfolio. Allocation uses modern portfolio theory; the objective, the risk estimator and the weight constraints are all selectable. RSJ Portfolio is a commercial product of RSJ Software GmbH (Holzstrasse 4, 82120 Germering, Germany). Software facts: - Windows 10 or 11, 64 Bit. It runs locally; no account is needed to use it. - Single user, on premises license: **USD 99.00 one-time, VAT free**, including all updates within the same major version. There is no subscription. - 13+ risk and allocation methods, 8 risk models, selectable return models and weight constraints. - Maximum analysis timeframe: 10 years of historic prices. - Two data providers: Yahoo Finance (free, personal use) and End of Day Historical Data (subscription with an API key, needed for commercial use). - Portfolios quoted in more than one currency are converted via a USD path. - The software only uses adjusted close prices, which frequently contain errors, so the price series are cleaned (interpolation, sigma clipping) before use. - A signed Windows installer is available from this site; it sets up its own dependencies, including an embedded Python runtime. - The product ships in English and German. - RSJ Software GmbH offers no financial advice; the software is a tool and a financial advisor should be consulted before using it. The site is bilingual: English at the root, German under `/de/`, with translated slugs. ## Product pages - [Overview](https://portfolio.staging.rsj.de/): what the product does, the workflow, and what it costs.
